Work crews survey trolley route from Columbine to Mayville

The engineers surveying the new trolley line report progress on the Columbine to Clymer segment with one engine and crew remaining to finish the leg. Bentley and the corps push toward Sherman as the probable general route follows the old plank road. Work between Sherman and Summerdale is planned within two weeks.

Pennsy to Move Track Sunday for New Road

Employees of the Pennsylvania Railroad, aided by the Duquesne Construction Company, will remove about half a mile of track twelve feet north of its present location on Sunday. The section runs from Red House crossing to Reedy's crossing as the line stays open during the move, with officials aiming to finish by Sunday night for the new Lovell's station road.

North East Fire Team Heads Out For Parade
