Hiram L. ij and Edward Tumestown, driver and helper, escaped severe injury when their freight trailer of the Purfilbite Express Two crashed in East Randolph. The rig skidded on slick pavement, the trailer detached and struck two nearby cars, demolishing the front and leaving occupants with minor injuries and shock.
Dorothy Larson of Jamestown pleaded not guilty to third degree assault in a case alleging she attacked Jeannette Olson and Mrs. Hattie Dolan on Crescent Street. Olson says Larson pulled hair, struck Dolan, sending Dolan to hospital with broken ribs. Larson held on $100 bail before Acting Judge McKinley L. Phillips.
Mrs Nellie M Clark of Coles Fe D Corry died Wednesday at 9 16 PM in Corry Hospital following a period of ill health Born in Wellsville NY August 1 1879 she lived in Corry 45 years and was a practical nurse before ill health. Survived by two daughters Mrs Herbert Gedinaris Altoona and Mrs Charles Collier Corry two sons William Clark Cleveland Joseph Clark and Paul Clark Cony a sister Miss Margaret McCauley Clymer and two brothers William McCauley Clymer and George McCauley Erie Funeral Mass Saturday at Briarlock St Thomas church.
Funeral service for William F Dish was held Wednesday afternoon at 1 30 at Bracken Keating Funeral Home with Rev F Hildebrand officiating. Bearers were Walter Hindman Ridney Beckwith Harland Blanchard Harvey Loveland Benny Miller Albert Cole and Jack Castor. Burial followed in the family lot at Fairview Cemetery Pleasantville.
