United Press reports Baby Face Nelson, wanted for slaying three federal agents, was found dead in a ditch near Niles Center Illinois. His body was riddled with bullets after a gun battle in which two agents died. Attorney General Homer S. Cummings confirmed the death and noted wounds in the abdomen chest and leg. A DOJ auto used by Nelson and two companions was later found in a North Shore suburb, its front seat stained with blood and the gas tank empty.

Couple With 3 Children Stay Two Days At Camp
Harrisburg reports Mr and Mrs Gooden Dill of Langhorne Pennsylvania tourist camp operators stayed two days at their camp after informing authorities that the three girls and the man and woman found dead 70 miles apart in Pennsylvania on Saturday. They were escorted from Philadelphia to the state police office in Harrisburg where Major Lyn Adams and Major Cecil Wilhelm questioned them. The Dills were later to Carlisle to view the morgue and then to Dunville where the man and woman were taken. Mrs Dill described the victims to police yesterday.
