Erie Woman Injured In Route 89 Auto Wreck
An Erie woman, Elizabeth Teed, 29, was seriously injured on Route 89 near Beaverdam at 730 last night. Gerald Barbey, 20, and Louis Cuneo, 53, both of Erie, were identified as drivers. Barbey slowed to pass, Cuneo failed to stop in time, and his car struck Barbey’s. Teed was first taken to Curry Hospital, then Erie Hospital for treatment. Damages were estimated at 3100 for Barbey’s car and 75 for Cuneo’s car. neither driver was jailed.
