The First Methodist Church presents a Thanksgiving schedule with morning worship at 11 00 a m sermon on mans dignity and Gods plan for humanity Epworth League at 6 30 p m and evening service at 7 00 p m discussing Christianity proven by Christian experience Thanksgiving Day events include joint services with the Masterial Association at 7 40 p m Rev HK Ray Harris of the United Brethren leads the evening at the First Baptist church ELIZABETHS church features Mass times Rosary and catechism while Seventh-day Adventist on North Center Street announces Sabbath services led by EH Swanson with weekly Sabbath School and church services.

The Corry Ministerial Association schedules a union Thanksgiving service on Wednesday evening at 7:00 at the Finest Baptist Church with Rev H Ray Harris to deliver the address. A full program from United Brethren in Christ and other city churches will be announced next week. Residents are invited to attend and join in prayers of gratitude for spiritual and material benefits received this year.

Columbus PTA held its regular meeting in Dean School with strong attendance. Rev R Harris of Corry spoke on Character Education in the Home. Arthur Page discussed the Alms and Benefits of the Columbus Library, and a refreshments table supported by Mrs Stockton and her committee helped raise funds for the PTA. Social events included Bible study gatherings, a get acquainted party for Rev Harris and wife, and a Christmas party planning session with gifts and refreshments.
