Mother and three children die in Concord house fire
A Concord mother Mrs Charles Marshall and her three children Ruth 19 John 1 and Robert 2 perished when a fire destroyed their home. The father worked at the state prison and was away. Indications pointed to the mother sacrificing to save the children and a fifth child Walter 0 was found outside after a window was used. Firemen recovered the charred bodies in the ruins.

Oil City Man Fatally Hurt At Union City
Louis A. Reisinger of Oil City died after an auto accident near Union City. The group of three from Oil City were en route to Erie to visit relatives when the force of the crash threw them from the car near Union City. Reisinger died of internal injuries after reaching Waterford. City Council meets tonight to discuss the 1928 budget and paving projects for the coming year.
