Trains Delays After Queen's Run Wreck Near Lock Haven

Yesterday afternoon a New York Central freight derailed near Queen's Run two miles west of Lock Haven. A Pennsy freight then crashed into the wreckage, twenty cars piled in debris, engine demolished. Fireman and engineer leaped free. line clearance and rebuilding extend into this morning.

Lyle Merry Scalded at Amo Iowa Agricultural School

Howard and Mrs Merry report their son Lyle, a student at the Agriculture School in Amo Iowa, suffered severe burns November 2 while helping repair a radiator. He removed an instructor from danger as the radiator burst, causing serious injuries. His condition improved and doctors expect a complete recovery in a few weeks.

Sentenced to Jail for Four Months in Dunkirk Case

Stanny Meek, a young hold-up man, was arrested Thursday at Dunkirk by Officer Cleveland. He appeared before Alderman Hox and was sentenced to four months in jail, giving authorities time to check his record as a suspect believed wanted by Charleston, West Virginia.

Unfriendly But Not Hostile Turkish Fire On U S Warship

United Press report from Washington Nov 27 describes Captain Necker of the USS Tennowen stating a Turkish garrison shot at a launch from the American vessel near Smyrna after the harbor was closed by the Turkish government. Attorneys and Party Return After Pennsy Rail Dispute

Lawyers and residents from Concord township traveled to Harrisburg to seek Public Service Commission approval to vacate three township roads in a Pennsy contract. The hearing occurred Thursday with opposing counsel. An inspection trip was planned, and a pullman seating dispute led to a vote and a dinner at Kane before continuing to Corry and Brie.

Villa in Mexico City Tomorrow

United Press reports General Villa will enter Mexico City with a 20 000 strong force by Sunday. Troops advance from Querétaro and along the Fallway toward the capital.
