Investigators found the remains of four women at the 50-year-old farmer Ed Gein's secluded Plainfield home near Milwaukee. Five more heads were located on his 160-acre farm, bringing cadavers to ten. Gein, a bachelor, faces robbery charges as authorities probe cannibalism implications. Debbie Darr a dancer and wife of BOBC actor was accused of leaving her three children unattended for two days in a dirty neglected Queens home. Neighbors discovered the 11 month old with a rash while the five year old sought food. The children were treated for malnutrition and the mother was booked on endangering health and welfare charges.
Roger E. Hall, 22, of Corry was jailed in Erie County on a statutory rape charge involving a 14 year old. Bail set today as police report say the girl was picked up downtown Corry and driven around for hours before the alleged attack in Wayne Township near the city units. State Police and Corry city police coordinated the investigation with Alderman M. S..Cabbett named in the charge. The suspect remained in custody after late Friday arrest.
Former presidential contender Adlai Stevenson arrives at the State Department to confer with Secretary of State Dulles on a North Atlantic security policy.
