Bank closure delays Bradford case as investigations extend
Federal officials say two more months are needed to finish probes into the Commercial National Bank of Bradford, delaying grand jury presentations until a full report is completed. The bank closed in September with FDIC paying deposits up to 5 000. Former officers faced charges of false entries and misapplication of funds. A coroner ruled the death of assistant cashier Frank W. Calkins in his garage likely self-inflicted by monoxide poisoning.
