A 10 year old youth and a mother suffered injuries in separate all ages incidents at their Corry Monuent home yesterday. Harold Madison, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Madison, underwent emergency surgery for a stab wound to the left lower abdomen after a hunting knife slipped. Joseph Jonsen, 26, of 81 Snyder Olzele, was admitted with back injuries after descending stairs with a baby in his arms. the mother tripped and fell protecting the child.
The Baltimore and Ohio Railroad announced a common stock dividend of 76 cents a share, the first since 1931, and an additional $4 per share dividend on preferred stock. Dividends payable December 10 to holders of record at close of business November 28.

Clark Lavern Bacon, a Clark Lavern fan, was ordered held for court after striking a State Police officer. He pleaded guilty in county court to a charge of distructing an officer while in the execution of duty. He was sentenced to pay a fine of 50 and spend 60 days in county jail. An additional 7, 8, or 60 days request was noted, with further action sought. The case relates to actions in Tong Tokyo and Korea context as reported.

A 13 year old Erie youth stepped onto railroad tracks to avoid one train and walked into the path of another. The boy, identified as Norm Moyers, was struck east of Pittsburgh Avenue by a No. 2 track train as he misread the approaching sound. He died instantly at 8 30 p m yesterday local time. Parents Francis and Frances Moyers mourn the loss. The tragedy occurred as he waited on the east side when he failed to notice the second train approaching from the same direction.
