Franklin city man jailed for false alarm offense
John O'Brien of Franklin City pleaded guilty to making a false alarm last week and was sentenced by Judge McCracken yesterday to six months in the county jail. A Jamestown man, Corp. Allen K. Pattison, was among survivors of an Air Force B-89 crash near Indianapolis, AP dispatch reports.

Missing Sisters Found In Pittsburgh Case
Three teenage sisters reported missing from their Jamestown home were found and returned to their mother in Pittsburgh. Police said the girls Mary Johnson, aged 45, and Gladys Johnson, aged 1, had been staying with friends in Saegertown before authorities located them.

First defense witnesses in the one day trial of Jimer P. Kissman, charged with murdering his wife Lenora Kissman last May, are expected to testify late this afternoon.
