Disaster Sinks Steamers Off Bombay Killing Many
London dispatch reports 150 drowned as the coastal steamer Sant Tookaram sank in a violent storm off Bombay with 196 aboard. The Jayanti, carrying 140, remains missing as search efforts continue and other vessels are feared lost.
