Deer meat violation lands two youths in Venango jail
Edwin D. Pery and Joseph P. Schmidt, both 20 and from local rural routes, are jailed in Venango County on game law violations after allegedly possessing deer meat. Each faces a fine and costs totaling 125 dollars or 145 days in jail. A third youth, 19-year-old Richard F. Brown, paid his fine and costs and was released.
