Rippley man jailed after Navy AWOL case
Ripley resident Dreen M. Deilaven, 22, reported missing by his family, was arrested Sunday by Deputy Sheriff Joseph Villafrank. Deilaven, who joined the Navy on September 8, 1949, had been absent without leave from the USS Ardent at the San Francisco Navy Yard. He was released on bond pending a Crawford County court appearance.
