Mrs Haner of Chestnut Street was released from St Vincent's Hospital in Erte after removal of a one eighth inch tong bone lodged in her throat during dinner Saturday. Accompanied by her husband and nurses Mrs Walters and Mrs Jeanette Walters, she was rushed to the hospital for treatment. Dr Francis Cardot, throat specialist, performed the removal and she was admitted overnight.

Open House At Corry Schools For Education Week

In conjunction with American Education Week Wil be held in the Corry public schools this Wednesday afternoon and evening. Superintendent Lawrence Douglas announced that classes will not be held Tuesday morning. students should report at the usual time in the afternoon. Paola may also visit the Huss rooms. Evening hours run 7 to 9 30 p m with buildings wide open for parents and adults to tour.

Judge Sentences Two Corry Men

Two Corry men faced sentencing in Erie County Court this morning. Earl Sperry Jr received three months in jail after pleading guilty to a public indecency charge. One defendant, Joseph L. Janesee, was released on a drunken driving charge after paying 300 dollars in damage and court costs.
