Auxiliary Beaverdam Hose Ladies Christmas Bazaar
The Elgin Beaverdam Hose Company Ladies Auxiliary hosts its annual Christmas bazaar at the fire hall on Saturday November 13 from 10 am to 3 pm and again at 7 pm with games. Mrs Clarence Daley president and bazaar chair leads the plant and flower committee with Mrs Nellis Ploss and other members. The event offers lunches, baked goods, white elephants, handmade toys and decorations, plant displays, and various attractions for all ages. Public welcome.

Members and guests of the Corry Afternoon Duplicate Bridge Club enjoyed a four and a half table Howell session yesterday at the YMCA. Winners included Mrs. E. S. Thompson and Mrs. Low Master with 41, Mrs. Arthur Hansen of Union City and Mrs. John Pierce with 40, Mrs. Mildred Hall and Mrs. Horton Davis with 39, and Mrs. Richard Muckinhaupt and Mrs. Sarah Davidson with 38.
