John Goring aged 19 son of Theodore and Mrs Goring of Seventh street narrowly escaped death in Briskey's woods Tuesday afternoon. A 22 caliber rifle discharged while handled by Bernard, the leaden bullet struck his brother Bernira in the neck and lodged under the car. A local doctor attended him and he is reported about as well as can be expected.
Reports from CATANTA Sicily describe Mount Gina’s eruption causing extensive damage along 118 slopes. Three remaining buildings collapsed in Mascall as molten rock flowed toward Finni, threatening residents though not in immediate danger.
Mr Alcom of WEBW in Oil City arrived to arrange broadcasting of Armistice Day events at the Old City station.
