Erie Woman Seeks Resentencing After Court Ruling
Edith Raymond of Erie seeks resentencing after a State Supreme Court decision voided indefinite terms for women. She was originally sentenced to an indefinite term at Muncy for robbery in 1962, while male accomplices received fixed sentences and were released long ago. The judge ordered her return to Erie for resentencing on November 26 with a public defender to represent her.
