Pittsburgh Hunter Dies In Accidental Shotgun Discharge

Edwin D. Anderson a 20 year old Navy veteran was killed during a hunt in Kingsley township near Ti onesta when he slipped on a wet log and fell. his shotgun discharged striking him in the throat. Troopers and Dr F J Boyard responded to the scene.

Man Denies Guilt in Carrying Weapon in Jamestown

Robert Lindquist 34 of Jamestown pleaded not guilty to carrying a concealed revolver in city court before Judge Bargarth. Bail set at 1000 dollars. he waived exam and remains held for grand jury after Monday night arrest at a local taproom. Police say the charge is felony due to prior DWI conviction.
