A Corry man identified as the victim of an E R train accident is named as the casualty. Wheat price rises boost farm income and spark optimism among growers and bankers as agencies forecast continued demand and market shifts shaping the 1920s agricultural economy.

Nell value, agents, son of Mrs. Scott Little of 126 muth Avenue, died at Corry Hospital at 3 15 PM after a serious operation on September 18. Allie Cummings of Rootville, injured in a hit and run on the Corry Union City road Sunday night, is much improved and likely to leave Corry hospital for home later today. The driver who struck him fled. efforts to locate the motorist have had little success. George Bond returned to Mayville work after a visit in the city with Mrs Fannie Harmon following the death.
Milton Merritt of Adlist Directory Company announces starting next Monday morning on a new city directory for Corry Union City and Spartansburg. The firm will compile a complete accurate local directory including mail routes and solicits resident cooperation to ensure a comprehensive publication.

Neighbors heard the shots, police found the scene, and the victims were pronounced dead at Temple University Hospital. A note to her husband cited unendurable poverty and starvation as the motive.

Joseph C. Newman of the Von Wezel Diamond House in New York reported to police that he and a companion were kidnapped from a Loop street corner and robbed of uncut diamonds valued at $200,000. Jas Spragg, 27, a former deputy sheriff, was killed instantly when two bombs erupted in his grandfather T. W. Beatty's grocery in Washington. Spragg had investigated the first blast and was caught in the second. Beatty, 70, and Beatty's wife suffered shock and injuries. Investigators say powder bombs likely caused the explosions. no gas pipes were involved. A five year old girl, Caroling Crise of Rochester, died from burns after her clothing caught on a gas stove.
Mystery over the identity of the Erie Railroad victim near Kennedy resolves as James Carroll, 24, of Corry and Gerry connections confirmed. Stepfather A H Beebe identifies clothing and jewelry found on the body, arrangements made to exhume and mourn in Erie and Corry with funeral at St Thomas Church.
