Florence Sherlock reports calm fall weather as Novist stays frost free. Mrs Gladys Rogers and Mrs Lulu Hopkins traveled to Buffalo, stayed with relatives, and celebrated the 17th wedding anniversary with dinner at the Grotta Restaurant. Guests visited various local families, attended church, and attended a country club open house. A Glenn Halfast sale drew many, and moving to a Buell’s Corners trailer was noted. Get well wishes go to Iva Maker and Irene Hutchison. Mrs Clarence Van derhoof remains in Corry hospital. Local trips included Washington, Pennsylvania Parents Day with Douglas Coyle. Halloween parties, birthday celebrations for Rev Coston, and church class gatherings filled the weekend. Congratulations to Terry Blakeslee and Judy McEldowney on their Nichols camp wedding. The couple will reside in Corry.
