Two Injured In Area Truck Crash Near Lovells Corners
Two persons were injured, neither seriously, in a one truck crash on Route 9 one mile south of Lovells corners at 5 20 am today. Donald Braswell 43 R D 1 Corry and his wife Beverly 42 R D 1 Corry were treated and released from Corry Memorial Hospital for minor abrasions and lacerations. The crash occurred when Braswell traveling north on Route 89 lost control on a wet road and struck a tree. They were taken to the hospital by Richard Darrow of R D 3 Corry who was passing by. Damages were estimated at 2000. A separate two car collision on Route 97 west of Union City at 6 pan yesterday involved Diane R Webh 20 R D 1 Waterford turning into a private drive and being rear ended by Edward J Nowakowski 41 Erie. No injuries were reported and damages were about 300 to each car.
