Hoxsey Barred From Importing Clinic Patients
In Pittsburgh a U S Deputy Court judge issued a temporary injunction barring the Hoxsey Cancer Clinic of Portage Cambria County from accepting out of state patients. The order, sought by U S Attorney Malcolm Anderson, targets ongoing operation seen as risking irreparable injury while keeping in force existing Pennsylvania patients. A June hearing will consider a permanent injunction. The government alleges the clinic solicits patients from other states and sells cancer pills misbranded as cancer treatment.
