Bryan says agreement with rebels will be made in twenty four hours

Washington May 28 United Press reports that an agreement with the rebellion is to be reached within 24 hours after talks among Secretary Bryan Judge Boss and Niagara Falls mediators. Officials say a tentative protocol was already agreed and hope for peace in Mexico before Huerta can act.

Foreigner Believed to Be Insane Terrorizes City Neighborhood

In the Western section a resident reports a young foreigner, described as insane or deranged, has terrorized the area for days. He allegedly threatened to kill four women last night. Police had not acted yet, a warrant was to be sought, and the case involved a prior similar complaint about the same man.
