A 1960 blue Chrysler struck a parked car owned by Marie Yachett in Clymer at 1:30 this morning. The unidentified driver fled the scene, turning south toward Corry or Columbus. Authorities urge anyone with information to contact Mayville sheriff or the state police substation.

Woman and youth in theft sentenced in Crawford County
A 31 year old Titusville woman Evelyn Marie Beeles and a 15 year old Titusville youth were sentenced for burglary of the Sunset Heights Superette on March 28. Beeles received 150 dollars fine costs and two years probation for receiving stolen property. Baldwin received a suspended one to two year sentence in the Allegheny County workhouse two years probation and a 100 dollar fine plus costs.
Harborcreek Man Dies After Ditch Wall Cave-In
Andrew H. Hinkler 75 of Harborcreek died after a drainage ditch collapse at a Harborcreek farm. Coroner Merle Wood ruled the death accidental from chest injuries. Hooper and Niemeyer pulled him free. emergency crews arrived around 5:20 and he died at Hamot Hospital at 5:45 p.m.
