Two youths die in crash near Girard
Special to the Journal Erie May ME Clyde Holden aged 4 of Apitabyla Ohio and Leonard Ryan both youths died in a car crash two miles west of Girard on a Sunday afternoon. The vehicle reportedly traveled at high speed and struck a telephone pole, killing one occupant instantly and seriously injuring the other who died later at Brown Memorial Hospital.

Mary King Dies in Titusville After Illness
Mrs Mary King longtime Colum bian resident and wife of B L King died Saturday at 100 North Washington Avenue after years of declining strength. Born September 13 1839 in Columbus she lived in Columbiana and Titusville with her husband before moving to Titusville in 1868. A charter member of Acacia Chapter Order of the Eastern Star she was active in church and community affairs. Survived by one brother Frank Edward of Corry an adopted daughter Mrs William A Brownlee and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service at 106 N Withington Tuesday at 1 00 PM with interment in Columbus Cemetery beside her husband.
