Bridge Club Scores and Luncheon Plans At Corry YMCA
Members and guests of the Tuesday Afternoon Duplicate Bridge Club at the YMCA posted an average 36 with four end games and listed winners including Mrs James Lundy and Mrs Raymond Sandburg. The Corry Bridge Association met at the Hotel Corry for a nine table Mitchell session with top North-South Beverly Morgan and Arthur Hansen at 128 percent and other high scorers. A spring luncheon is planned next Tuesday at Hotel Corry with reservations via Mrs Jack Osman.

Jay Bailey of the Erie County Tourist and Convention Bureau spoke at the Rotary luncheon at the Hotel Corry. He showed color films of Erie County attractions after being introduced by Ed ward Zanger. Ronald Willman attended as a guest and Hubert Vaughn gave the blessing. Next Tuesday the Rotary Kiwanis joint dinner will be at the Hotel Corry with Erie County Commissioners as special guests. 3 Killed In Crash In Montgomery County a Abington Pa couple and their young daughter died in a head on collision during a heavy win. The other driver was critically injured. The dead were Jesse Hatmaker 60 wife Mary 45 and Kathleen their 4 year old daughter.

Junior Troop No. 857 members from the Corry area contributed favors for Corry Memorial Hospital trays to be distributed on Memorial Day. The service project included many named scouts and leaders Mrs. Robert George Mrs. Morris Boutwell and senior program aide Susan George.

285,069 boxes were sold, an 8,793 box increase from last year. Erie districts led with 151,265, Warren 82,800, Meadville 32,532, Sharon 68,436. remaining sales to general cookie cupboard. Proceeds fund council camping at multiple camps. 1967 shows 15.3 percent day camp, 25 percent resident camp, 45.5 percent troop camping. 1968 registrations open.
