U S Trade Balance Forecast By Commerce Secretary
Washington May 2 In a briefing to President Wilson Secretary Redfield said the United States would post a record favorable trade balance for August through May 36 of the year. He estimated the total at least 1600 million dollars. He added April’s balance alone reached 124 million. The State Department announced Wilson’s neutrality proclamation between Austria and Italy, a document about two thousand words in standard form.
