Sears Files Suit Against NY Knicks
Veteran pro star Kenny Sears filed a suit against the New York Knickerbockers alleging league collusion to fix salaries and blacklist players. He seeks treble damages under antitrust laws, claiming four years of restricted free negotiation cost him $30,000 while adding a cross-claim against NBA owners.
