Pennsylvania Railroad officials arrived to determine the cause of yesterday's wreck on the Philadelphia and Erie division near Colah one mile from the city. Wrecking crews repaired damage by nightfall and lines reopened.

Militants fill London streets with noisy protest at king

From London May 22 a crowd of 64 militant suffragettes and two male backers faced arraignment after violent unrest. They refused to reveal names and were assigned numbers for proceedings. A militant freed a protester at a theater shouted for Mrs Pankhurst and damaged artworks at the National Museum and Royal Academy.

Tionesta Couple Freed Of Murder

In Tionesta on May 22 Mr and Mrs George Strain were acquitted of murder in the March 2 death of Albert Allen. The jury deliberated from five pm, returning a verdict of not guilty, and Judge Hinckley ordered their immediate discharge.

Becker's Fate Rests With Jury

New York May 22 The fate of ex policeman Charles Becker rests with twelve jurors as Justice Seabury sends the case to the jury at noon It was expected they would dine before beginning deliberations Becker showed grim resolve but brightened when the judge reviewed the defense evidence The court charge was broad and the judge left it to the jury to decide whether Mrs Rosenthal or Becker's former raid squad companions perjured themselves

Harrisburg Primary Returns Reported in Early Count

Harrisburg May 22 delayed tally shows 51 of 67 counties reporting in the Pennsylvania primary. Republican results for Penrose Dimmick reach 284,523 in 61 counties while Ryan McCormick Democrats total 200,000 to 225,000. Seventeen counties yet to be heard from include large rural areas where McCormick may lead. Overall rural turnout around 40 percent with Philadelphia city at 60 percent.
