Meadyitte, Pa May 18 A general shaking up of positions of the Erie railroad has just been announced changing the running department. Commencing with the head of the list Superintendent Mackarell of the Allegheny Division stationed at Salamanela is transferred to the superintendency of the Chicago and Erie division with headquarters at Huntingdon. T R Woodruff formerly division engineer and later superintendent of the Rochester Division is transferred to the superintendency of the Cincinnati Division with headquarters at Mar GA. Allen, superintendent of the Cincinnati Division, is assigned to other duties not specified in the order. A change is also announced in the coal management the temporary consolidation of the First and Second Divisions there and extending the duties of Samuel Ferguson train master to cover both divisions. Charles Callopy will resume his old position as dispatcher. It is understood the present arrangement is temporary and the two divisions will not permanently remain consolidated.
G F Bigler of Westfield was arrested at the courthouse in Painesville on perjury charges and held for the grand jury. He filed a divorce action against his wife, a resident here, who claimed Ohio residency while last known listed in Buffalo New York. Attorney A Ten nant of Mayville represented Mrs Bigler. Bigler, a prominent local Democrat, ran for assembly in 1911.
