Special to the journal Krie May 20 2250 the prosecution in the trial of John M Andrews won a morning victory when Judge Walling ruled to admit evidence from Dr Wallace the coroner’s servant and George J Wilbert who testified he saw Andrews stop then Andrews enter the buggy. The defense objected to many trial notes and the magistrate allowed witness Wilbert and others to be read from the former trial. The Commonwealth will seek permission to read Wilbert’s testimony from the prior trial and the defense vows to oppose.
