Queen Candidates For Annual Spring Dance
The Spring Dance will be held Saturday evening May 1 from 8 to 11 at the YMCA. Eight candidates compete for the queen title: Kim Amoroso Nancy Bracken Tricia Burkhart Sheryl Grenz Kelli Hall Deirdre Mahoney Shelly Messinger and Shelly Miller. Music by Trick, coronation at 10 during intermission. Due to limited space only parents of candidates may attend.

Corry Bridge Association members held an open pairs game at the Corrian Hotel with four tables. Winners were Mrs Gladys Stowe and Mrs Sarah Davidson at 48 percent. Houston Pa AP Authorities say a car in a high speed chase crashed into two trees killing a 16 year old girl Tracy Mikus of Houston who was a passenger in a car driven by 17 year old Bradford Thom sie also of Houston Thom sie and three other passengers were taken to Canonsburg Hospital for treatment.
