Fire Rips Through Two Family Home In Stanfort
Stanford Hose Company officials seek origin of a blaze that heavily damaged a two family structure at East Pleasant and East streets. The fire began in the upstairs bathroom where the Cecil Huffman family lived and spread downward. No one was home in either apartment. Victoria Osborne family occupied the downstairs unit. Alarm at 10 06 p m drew 30 men and four pieces of equipment. The ladder truck and volunteers fought the fire as smoke and water caused most losses. Firemen cleared the scene by 11 50 p m.
