Body Found in Hotel Room in Meadville
Meadville Pa May 14 A 60 year old Union City resident Sperry died by self inflicted gunshot in a New Gable Hotel room. Police found a 32 cal revolver in his right hand after the clerk unlocked the door. A chloroform bottle and sponge were in the room and a note with an Union City address and passbook show funds. An inquest will be held by Coroner Byham after his wife arrives.

P R R Track Moves From Clough Land
The Pennsylvanian Railroad moved tracks from John Clough property on North Center Street. Depot spur of the Buffalo division shifted north about six feet, freeing land owned by Clough. Suit had been filed. railroad vacated the land and arranged with The Bris railroad to move the spur to the south edge of Hile's right of way at the depot. Passenger trains will run to the depot on the north side after Spartansburg cut off is completed.

Obituary for B. M. F. Knause, former Corry resident, died in Brooklyn Tuesday after long illness. Born March 24 184? in Waterloo New York he served four years in the Civil War with Michigan infantry. Survived by wife two daughters Margaret and Winifred and son Dr Frank Knause. They lived in Corry many years, moved to Brooklyn twenty years ago.
