Corry High Class Sale Plans And PTA Meeting Notes
Corry High School Class of 1946 will run a two day rum mage sale at the former Corry Wall paper and Paint store on North Center street. Male members will handle Saturday sales, while women work Friday. Proceeds support the class get together. Miss Ann Baressi to preside at a Spring Creek Township School PTA meeting Monday evening at 8. Mrs. Allen Eastman invites parents of pre schoolers to attend, marking the final PTA session of the term. Bridge Scores at Corry VFW Club Night
Members of the Corry Bridge Association enjoyed a two and one table Howell session in the Garden Room of the VFW Post home. Winners included Mrs J Fred Kinley and Dr T H Kelsey with 16 percent and Mrs Henry Pedensky and Mrs Florence McCray with 10 percent. a Master Point game is planned for next week.

Child survives 20 foot fall from window in Los Angeles
Seventeen month old Lorrie Mc Intyre fell twenty feet from a second story bedroom window landing unharmed on a narrow grass plot amid surrounding concrete. Police say the child was not seriously injured and is reported recovering at home.

Prom party plans near completion in Corry area
Plans for the annual post prom party are under way led by cochairs Mr and Mrs James Allyn and Mr and Mrs Leo Hooks but many junior and senior parents have yet to provide adequate financial support. A group photo shows committee members including Mrs John R Bentsin and Mrs Joseph Spear with Virgil Warner and Mrs Robert Raupach. The event will be held at the VFW Post home on May 28 after the Corry Area High School junior senior prom and run until dawn May 29.
