Darlene L. Peters daughter of Mr and Mrs Robert Peters of R D 3 Corry wed Patrick M. Allen son of Mr and Mrs Bruce C Allen of R D 2 Corry. The outdoor ceremony was April 30 with District Justice Patsy Nichols officiating. Maid of honor was Michelle Allen and best man John Crawford. The bride wore a pale green gown and Miss Allen wore peach. The mothers wore white and pink pantsuit. A reception was held at the Bruce Allen home. The couple reside on R D 2 Corry and plan a belated July honeymoon.

Longet Denied Quick Release From Jail For Mother's Day
Colorado Supreme Court rejected Claudine Longet’s request to be freed on a 5000 dollar personal recognizance bond or to shorten her 30 day sentence by ten days. The 35 year old singer began serving 80 days in Pitkin County Jail in Aspen after a criminally negligent homicide conviction in the death of her lover, skier Vladimir Sabich.

Family Living Classes End at Corry Area High School
Corry Area High School finished its Family Living Classes with a successful preschool session. Two groups attended, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, meeting Monday through Friday for three weeks.

The couple will have a reception at the Lithuanian Club in Erie. Miss Russell is a cosmetologist at the Count and Countess in Lawrence Park. Mr Triana attends Behrend Campus of Pennsylvania State University Erie and will work in landscaping in North East after graduation.
