Mixup in fire call almost costs invalid Corry man his life

A late night fire at McCoy Trailer Court West of Corry destroyed the Butters trailer. Ray Butters, hospitalized for smoke inhalation, was saved by two passersby with a fire blanket who entered the trailer. Fire crews from Elgin Beaver Dam and Stanford Hose Company fought a blaze that proved beyond control. loss estimated at 9000.

Millions May Lose Food Stamp Right

Corry Gas Users In For More Increases

National Fuel Gas Distribution Corp filed two PUC tariff supplements for rate adjustments in the Corry area including residential, commercial and industrial customers.
