Two Jamestown Women Injured In Creek Crash Near Laona
At Hunt's curve on Route 60 near Laona two Jamestown women, Mrs Irene Conaway 24 and Mrs Elizabeth Kollwaske 5, were injured when their auto left the road and dropped 18 feet into Canadaway Creek. They were taken to Brooks Memorial Hospital in Dun Kirk in fair condition. Clar ence Conaway 30 and James D Boyd 99 were treated for facial and scalp lacerations after the crash. Clarence Conaway and Boyd were fined 20 dollars each for driving without a valid license and permitting an unlicensed operator to drive respectively.
