Senator Borah proposes donors decide how to dispose of a political fund. He would retire the money to Sinclair if donors prefer, or send it to charitable causes or the Republican committee. Thus far about $6,000 has been raised with more pledges expected as he campaigns nationwide.

Atlantic Massachusetts March 24 Two Navy aviators jumped to safety when their plane lost engine power. Lieutenant Samuel Caldwell landed in the water off Squantum shipyards drifted ashore unseen. He was uninjured while Lieutenant Walter Green alighted his street first striking a storefront window suffered cuts and minor injuries. The plane crashed between two houses on Billings street.
