Five Alco Products Co workers were injured by a machine explosion at about 9 30 am yesterday in Dunkirk. Charley Marcynski 44 of Dunkirk and Robert Moore 67 of Harrysbourg a suburb were hospitalized. Three other injured received on site treatment and were not admitted.

A Corry man was arrested by Corry State Police on a charge of assault arising from a family quarrel in which he allegedly beat his wife. Mrs. George Pless called the local substation for help. a warrant was sworn by Justice Floyd Marsh and the man was jailed to await arraignment. Conviction could carry imprisonment or both.
Mrs. Letin B. Williams, 71, widow of noted cartoonist Gnar Williams, died yesterday in an Indianapolis hospital. Her husband contributed cartoons to the Indianapolis News and Chicago Tribune.
