Young gang tied to looting ruined cafe investigation continues
Several youths, aged 7 to 18, were held after a dawn raid by Wesleyville police and Juvenile division officers. They are suspected of burglary at Dave's Cafe, stealing whiskey wine and beer worth over 300 dollars after a March 14 fire that damaged the building and neighboring shops. Woman Fined 500 In Embezzlement Case
Stella McFetridge 58 pleaded guilty to false entries at William Penn Bank of Commerce in Lawrenceville suburb. She paid the shortage and was fined 500 and placed on two years probation. McFetridge, of Parlington Beaver County, is wife of retired Pittsburgh Fire Captain Doseyh McFervidee and worked at the bank since 1941.
