Charles A. Sandaurs pristmaster of Jamestown, serving eighth year, has been nominated by President Hoover for another four year term. the nomination was sent to the Senate yesterday. Powers Dies on Gallows in Quiet Dell Murder Case
In Fort Mount W Va on March 10 Harry B Powers, dubbed the bluebeard, was hanged for the murders of five people including two women and three children found in a garage used as a crime site. Powers answered no when asked if he had anything to say and showed only a slight facial twitch as the noose ended his life.
