One-Car Crash Pins Driver In Car Two Hours

A 1970 coupe driven by Joseph W. Morowski, 22, left Route 426 two miles east of Corry at 9:15 p.m. after failing to negotiate a curve, smashing a utility pole and sustaining severe injuries. Morowski was pulled from the wreckage, treated at the scene, and hospitalized in Corry in serious condition with leg fractures and internal injuries. Rescue crews worked two hours to extract him as traffic was halted and emergency units stood by.

Corry Area High adopts three biology tracks next year

Corry Area High School will replace a single biology course with three offerings for next year.
