Nixon plans more talks with governors after revenue sharing push

President Nixon, buoyed by winning over one Democrat and wooing another, schedules at least three private sessions with state governors. Lone Survivor Tammi Ann Nowak Found With Miss Hollenbeck

Licenses Open for Taverns in Nearby Counties

In a three county area around Corry, 11 tavern licenses are available, two beer only. PLCB plans hearings on vacancies after census figures show 312 total across 244 municipalities. Erie County towns Hast Springfield Edinboro Elgin Platea list vacancies. Conneaut has none. Crawford has Springboro Beaver Township and Troy Township openings. Warren County includes Cherry Grove Southwest and Triumph.

House Appropriations Backs SST Development Funding

The House Appropriations Committee approved 289.9 million dollars to finance continued development of two SST prototypes, with a target flight by March 1973. State income tax begins May 1 with 3.5% levy

Harrisburg AP reports Pennsylvania workers will face a 4.5 percent withholding on weekly pay until taxes are settled. About 3.3 million wage earners are taxed under the new 3.5% rate, while 1.2 million self employed pay quarterly.
