Erie Tool Works has purchased the Oster Mfg Co site at 12th and Liberty and land at the southeast corner. Henry MacDonald, attorney for the buyer, said no price was announced but deeds show about 125000. Dairy owner shoots wife and flees to New Jersey
Salisbury Md March 15 shots fired about 100 miles apart end the life of dairy owner Russell O Moore 48 and one of his two wives Marjorie Mae Mahnke Moore 29. Her body was found in Salisbury four hours earlier. Moore and his daughter Marilyn left Salisbury for Collingswood N J as police closed in.

Kane Highway Worker Killed in Route 219 Accident
Kane March 15 Harry A L McKendree a 69 year old Kane resident and state highway department employe was instantly killed on Route 219 fourteen miles north of Kane when he stepped from a rear cinder truck into an oncoming convoy. Coroner Elmer Beatty said death likely came from head injuries. McKendree lived with his invalid wife and worked under Foreman Claude Anderson on the Kane crew en route to a reloading.
