C M Hengst of West Smith St, Y M C A secretary, suffered minor injuries. Vehicle veered off Warren Custer City highway, crashed into trees, Turner thrown through windshield. Turner taken to Bradford Hospital in fair condition.

A winged Douglas monoplane manned by a robot pilot and unknown U S Army fliers drafted by the department of commerce landed here after a three hour Pacific test stop. The Oakland flight marked a mysterious autonomous-aircraft display with Army airmen aboard.

Capt Clayton Bissell, Pennsylvania’s only surviving World War I ace, has been at Wheeler Field since last September and was in Oakland on a secret mission. Relatives say he departed March 6 with no announced destination, possibly Honolulu, as the craft heads toward the Pacific with a mysterious flight plan.
Curtailed production from hay and roughage shortage supported February milk prices for Corry dairy farmers. Pittsburgh march 13 the commonwealth moved today to avenge the racket slaying of Nicola Framatini 45 Carnegie gambler whose bullet riddled body was found by a farmer along the McKean road Collier township last January 18. The Allegheny county grand jury indicted Sam Falgo 38 and Frank Migiazzo 48 two of six with whom Framatini dined and gambled at a Carnegie restaurant the night before gangland expected its toll.
Harrisburg reports the first emergency payment from a $1,000,000 transfer of the late fire insurance tax fund to state aided hospitals. The Taylor Hospital at Ridley Park, founded by Dr. Taylor in 1879, receives the first check, as legislators push aid to numerous institutions severely hit by prior allocations.
Pittsburgh citizens faced two feet of floodwater on several streets as the Ohio Monongahela and Allegheny rivers rose to 29 feet and receded to about 26.8 feet. Downriver areas saw cellars flood but overall damage remained limited with slow recessions across the lower North Side.

Pittsburgh March 13 A drive to push the federal housing administration plan in western Pennsylvania will begin Monday with a three day conference of construction industry men. The Allegheny county better housing committee sponsors the conference in cooperation with the district office of FERA.
About two hundred fifty people attended a Townsend Club mass meeting at the Senior High School auditorium. Clarence Brooks spoke on the plan and its aims, stressing it as a recovery measure to renew prosperity for all workers and industries.
Train No 951 northbound on the Buffalo division was delayed last night due to an accident at Rouseville.
