Woman 63 Hurt In Three Car Crash Near Here

A Garland woman, Winifred Clancy 63, was treated at Corry Memorial Hospital after a three car collision on Route 426 two miles east of Corry at 4 45 p m yesterday. Clancy suffered fractured ribs and facial lacerations when her car was hit head on by a vehicle driven by Dennis L Baker 14 of 203 East Pleasant Street. A third vehicle driven by Dennis K Littlefield 32 Garland swerved to avoid the Clancy car, left the road and hit a tree. Baker and Littlefield were uninjured. Damages to the Clancy car were about 200 dollars and to the Baker and Littlefield cars about 200 dollars each. State Police noted no injuries beyond Clancy. The report lists names and addresses as read from the scene.

Mother and infants die in Warren fire in Glade Township

A Warren woman Dolly O'Dooley, 31, and her two infant daughters Eva, 2, and Rachael, 1, perished when a suburban home in Glade Township burned at 5 a.m. The husband Charles O'Dooley, 43, was treated after breaking through a window to seek aid. The home valued at 8900 was destroyed. contents undetermined. Fire officials from Glade Township and North Warren responded. state police fire marshals began investigation.

Fire curbed at Hatch Building causing smoke and minor damage
