Frewsburg youths avoid jail in auto battery theft case
In Jamestown city court Acting Judge Samuel S. Dyson gave Theodore G. Kirik, 20, and Dan Turney, 17, a three month sentence for larceny but suspended it and placed them on probation after about half an hour of fatherly counsel. The pair were arrested for stealing two auto batteries last Friday from Johnson Brothers Autoland Used Car Lat.

A 50 year old Jamestown man was treated at Jamestown General Hospital for injuries from a fall down stairs at his Alcoa Company job in Falconer. He sustained lacera tions around the eyes bruises over the right ear and brush burns on his right limb.
