Martin killer of bank clerk dies in chair
United Press reports Thomas F. Martin of Philadelphia was electrocuted at Rockview penitentiary for the December 6, 1930 murder of C Cameron Cook, a Bank of Philadelphia messenger, during a $34,000 robbery. He died at 7 01 pm with prison chaplain and Rev Father McCreese present. Martin proclaimed innocence and death sentence stood after board of pardons denied commutation.
